Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at CPC is all about how the gospel of Jesus Christ permeates the lives of students grades 6-12 and their families!

There are five distinctives about Youth Ministry at CPC:

Our students learn
At CPC, we teach the Bible.  Students have a staple diet of learning from God's Word.  We teach the reformed faith, and we encourage and disciple students to pray, read, and study the Word of God personally and regularly.  Leaders are always available to talk with students about what God says, and how to apply what he says to their lives in a relevant way.

Our students grow
At CPC, our students are involved in a ministry where they are challenged and encouraged to grow in their faith.  We regularly extend to our students and their families means of grace, such that they will grow into the full stature of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 Our students lead
At CPC, part of students growing is the fact that they are called to lead the Youth Ministry in certain capacities.  They plan events and fellowship time, share their own Christian testimony, teach the Scriptures, lead in worship and praise, and disciple one another for the edification of the Body of Christ.  Students are empowered to lead (and be led by) others in their faith.

 Our students serve
At CPC, students have regular opportunities to serve others.  Students follow after the example of our Lord and Savior, the perfect servant.  They serve one another in the Youth Ministry.  They serve children and congregants at CPC.  They serve in the context of their families.  They serve in the community as a witness for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our students evangelize
At CPC, students know how important it is to reach lost people for Jesus!  They are trained in sharing their own testimony and faith with others.  They are encouraged to pray for and answer opportunities to share the gospel with people in their lives who have not yet been saved by the power and love of Christ.  Students understand that the general call of the gospel is for everyone.
