Community Groups

What is a Community Group?
A Community Group is where everyday folks like you and me get together to “do life” together.  We have fun, eat together, study God’s Word, pray, and serve our communities around us. In short, we have compassion for the hurting, gather as a people of God, and serve our community and the community around us.

Where and when do Community Groups meet?
There are Community Groups meeting in both the evening and during the day.  Some groups meet at CPC, others  in homes.  To see the various groups, click on this link to our website calendar.  You can find a group closest to your home by viewing the Community Groups on the map below.
First, we desire that every person, family and guest to CPC participate in a CG.  You will have an opportunity to select a CG on May 21 at “Community Group Sunday.”  All CGs will have tables and information about their group.  Plan to stick around after the 10am worship service for a complimentary lunch!!

We have CG signup fairs every 3 months, but you may join a group at ANY TIME!  All groups are open to new participants at all times. So if you miss the signup date, look on the website, the map on the wall, or ask anyone about CG opportunities. Plus, don’t be surprised if someone asks you to join theirs!

What will we study?
The beauty of CGs is that each group can choose their own study based on needs, interests, and group dynamics. CPC has joined with RightNow Media to help with study materials. This is a type of “Netflix” of Bible materials. There are multi- week studies on books of the Bible, marriage, parenting, finance and more. There are leader guides and participant booklets.
