Please check back for sermon audio Sunday afternoon following the service

We were once slaves and orphans who were under the master who said “do or die” and now we are sons of the living God, who says “you may call Me “Abba” or daddy and what’s Mine is now yours. Welcome to My family.

The law is so necessary. It shows us our sin and our need for rescue. The only rescue that can deliver us from the curse of the law is Jesus. Salvation is by faith alone found in Christ alone. Everything else comes up short.

Salvation has always been by faith alone. God did not have 2 systems but only one: Faith in Jesus. The Law is a curse because it brings death since we can’t do it and yet faith brings life. We are not only saved by faith, but we live by faith in Jesus! What a gift.

All believers understand to some level “Justification by faith” or “being made right by Jesus’ life, death and resurrection”. But we then think after that our Christian walk is up to us and our efforts! But the Bible says just the opposite. We don’t “get in by Jesus” and “stay in by our efforts” but we grow in the same power that brought us salvation…the Gospel. Nothing will free us more than understanding that “It is finished” and we can rest in His work for us.
